A Basque party took place in Petaluma, California, on Sunday, June 4, organized by the San Francisco Basque Cultural Center. Located approximately 40 minutes north of San Francisco, the event featured an array of festivities following a Catholic Mass. Attendees enjoyed lively dances, heartfelt tributes, and a delectable spread of food, while some also engaged in playing mus, a traditional Basque card game. During this fortunate gathering, I had the pleasure of meeting Jose Alberdi from Bizkaia, as well as several individuals from Navarra, including Jose Tellechea, Fco. Vicondoa, Felix Istilart, among others. The interviews I conducted proved to be exceptionally engaging, offering valuable insights and enriching experiences.
